Dear Parents and Students, Christ Lutheran School’s Open House will be a little different this year! As we strive to keep everyone safe, we will be running 2 sessions each night, Tuesday-Thursday, and also 1 morning session on Thursday! This will help keep a limit on building occupancy during each session, and expand session opportunities for families. Pre-K and Kindergarten parents will receive a special contact from their child’s teacher regarding Open House. On August 3, parents will receive a link via email and Constant Contact enabling them to sign up for one of the Open House sessions listed below. OPEN HOUSE DATES & TIMES: *Tuesday, August 11, 2020 – 4:00pm or 6:00pm *Wednesday, August 12, 2020 – 4:00pm or 6:00pm *Thursday, August 13, 2020 – 10:00am or 4:00pm or 6:00pm We ask that parents arrive promptly at the time their session begins, and upon arrival for Open House, enter through the church doors and meet with Mr. D. in the sanctuary first! Mr. D. will share information with parents on the plans Christ Lutheran has for reopening this fall, along with contingency plans. After meeting with Mr. D., parents need to go to both the gym and meet with their child’s teacher, and may choose which one to do first. The teachers will be located in their classrooms, and will share important information with you about your child’s class. In the gym, you will receive your family envelope, complete necessary forms, and may also sign up for band and Cougar Corner at that time! Once you have completed one area, please continue on to the other to avoid congregating. Parents are strongly encouraged to bring their child’s school supplies (School Supplies Link) at this time, and put them in their desk or locker. If your children must come with you to Open House, please make sure they are with you at all times! Please be prepared to pay the following depending on what your child already has: -Religion materials: K-1: The Story Bible 2nd grade: Hymnal; NIV Bible 3rd-4th graders: 120 Bible Stories; Hymnal; NIV Bible 5th-6th graders: Faith Foundations; Hymnal, NIV Bible 7th-8th graders: Catechism and Bible Study materials; Hymnal; NIV Bible – Technology fee: $60/family – Athletic fee for 5th – 8th graders: $50/student – CLS Yearbook: $12/student Tuition payments of those who have chosen to pay in full will be accepted.
